Hormonal Health

I have suffered with Fibro Cystic disease in both breasts for the past 12 years and every 6 months a new lump would develop which was rather scary. So over these years an untold number of mammograms and ultrasounds have been taken and also unnecessary procedures, such as needles inserted into my breasts, untold times.

Seven months ago I went to a Naturopath Elaine Stoeckel, and after treatment, to my amazement and relief all the lumps have disappeared. As I am peri-menopausal, other symptoms of mood swings, depression, no energy etc. have also abated. My life is just getting better and better, I feel in control of my life and can handle anything that is negative and deal with it in a more focused way. My family and friends have noticed how positive I have become and I tell them it’s thanks to Elaine and her treatments.

I had an excruciating pain in my shoulder which then manifested into the chest. Fear of having a heart attack increased the pain which then caused anxiety and panic attacks.  My life was so stressful.  By the time I went to see Elaine I had had several of these attacks. With treatment the quality of my life has improved beyond measure.  I am now able to function easily without pain and panic, and can capably manage any stressful situations.  Wow! ’

Are your hormones playing havoc with your life?

Do you experience any of these:-

  • Stressed and on edge
  • Waking up in the morning feeling tired
  • Memory not functioning very well
  • Libido poor, sex life almost non-existent
    Suffering from PMT
  • Hormonal imbalance
  • Menopause symptoms
  • Food intolerances / Allergies
  • Skin conditions/rashes/ezcema
  • Your child’s behaviour causing concern
  • Your child having learning difficulties
  • Addictions-smoking-alcohol
  • Weight changes / under or over eating
  • Depression / anxiety
  • Lack of self esteem
  • Disbelief in self ability
  • Lack of focus and clarity

If you do, you can choose to change your circumstances.

What would your life be like if you didn’t have any of the feelings and challenges of the above list? Would you have abundant energy to do all you choose to do?

Just think of yourself free of stress and headaches, being able to think clearly, feeling vibrant and happy, free from irrational or impulsive behaviour. That constant feeling of not being in control that makes you irritable and edgy is not normal.   Getting rid of the cause will make you realise how your poor health was effecting your work, your life and relationship with family and co-workers.

Just the joy of being alive.
Menopause is a time of celebration.
We as women have completed our child bearing years.
It is now time to take stock of our lives and make some well-earned choices for the future.

This is not a time to be debilitated with ill health.
It is a time of good health and vitality.
We have so much wisdom to offer family, friends and society.

It is time to nurture ourselves, give of our wisdom and enjoy life.

Menopause affects you too —

Not only do you have to contend with your own health challenges with prostate dysfunction and poor libido but you either live with a woman, have a mother or female offspring  or know of women with some of these challenges — remember — hormone issues start at puberty.

What if we put more effort into prevention instead of management?
